Technical Assistance Support
Robin Ahigian is a Senior Program Associate in the Learning Innovations program at WestEd and provides technical assistance support for the Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center’s social-emotional learning and college and career readiness projects, supporting states as they implement federal priorities to improve educational outcomes for all students.
Ahigian also works with the Northeast Comprehensive Center, providing support to state personnel in their work with local education agencies around school and district improvement, college and career readiness, and strategic use of resources. In this capacity, she serves as the State Liaison for Maine and provides project support for the Vermont Agency of Education.
Prior to joining WestEd, Ahigian worked in the Center for Accountability and Targeted Assistance at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, where she served first as a Communications Manager and then as a Coordinator for the Regional System of Support. She has experience in both advisory and administrative roles in higher education and has taught outdoor education and middle school science in the public and private sectors.
Ahigian earned a BA from the University of Rhode Island and MEd from the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s School of Teaching and Learning.
